Applicants for Higher National Diploma in Animal Production Technology are required to fulfil the following conditions:
- WASC or GCE 'O' Level or SSCE with a minimum of four (4) Credit passes, obtained at not more than two sittings. The four subjects must include: Biology/Agricultual Science, Chemistry, Economics, English Language, Geography, Mathematics, Physics ans Statistics. Candidates must, in addition, obtain at least pass grades in English Language, Mathematics and Chemistry.
- Four (4) Credit passes in an National Business for Technical Education (NBTE) recognized Preliminary National Diploma courses offered in a College of Agriculture or similar Post Secondary Institution. The four Credit passes must come from subjects specified in (i) above.
- A minimum of Lower Credit Pass (CGPA 2.50 and above) in the cognate National Diploma obtained from Accredited Programmes of recognized Institutions.
- A minimum of one-year post National Diploma cognate work experience.
