| To produce men and women, knowledgeable in the field of Animal Production who would effectively utilize their training to establish and manage their own livestock farms to maximum advantage. Ultimately, the College aims primarily at producing job makers not job seekers. |
| To provide knowledge and skills essential for primary processing and preparation of livestock products |
| To produce technicians capable of carrying out routine preventive measure, meat inspection and follow up prescribed veterinary medical treatments. |
Rev’d Babatope J. David was born on the 13th of April, 1964 at Ise-Ekiti in Ekiti State of Nigeria.He attended St Paul’s Anglican Primary school, Ise-Ekiti between 1971 and 1976; Mary Immaculate Grammar School, Ado-Ekiti between 1976 and 1981, Federal School of Arts and Science, Ondo (FSASON) A/Levels 1983-1985 and University of Ibadan 1987-1991 and 1992 to 1993 for undergraduate and post graduate studies respectively.
Rev’d B. J. David, while in University of Ibadan read Communication and Language Arts and was awarded B. A. Degree. On graduation in 1991, he received two departmental awards sponsored by the then Governor of Oyo State – Col Abdulkareem Adisa – namely
(1) The best student that posses LEADERSHIP QUALITIES in the Department
(2)The best student project in POLITICAL COMMUNICATION in the Department
He was awarded M. A. Degree with bias for organisation Communication in 1995. On graduation, he was the best overall student with CGPA of 86.6. He joined the services of the Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology as Administrative Officer in 1995. He rose through the rank and presently a Deputy Registrar.
He studied at Immaculate College of Theology from 2008 to 2011 for the Diploma Certificate in Theology (DIP.TH). He is a Non-Stipendiary Priest with the St Paul’s Anglican Church, Odo-Ona, Diocese of Ibadan south, Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion.
Rev’d Babatope J . David is widely exposed and experienced in Administration. As a top administrator, he has attended meetings and conferences in and outside Nigeria especially in the Unisted States (USA) and the United Kingdom (UK)
Rev’d Babtope J. David is a gentleman that commands respect and regard from staff, Public and colleagues. He is amiable in character and enjoys most when people are satisfied and at peace. He is God fearing and does not tell lies. He hates liars.
He is happily married to one wife. The marriage is blessed with three loving and caring children.
