NOTICE TO PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS

AIMS & OBJECTIVES
To provide manpower in the area of Animal Health and Production.
To produce extension staff capable of imparting to livestock farmers, the modern techniques of increased Animal Production
To produce men and women, knowledgeable in the field of Animal Production who would effectively utilize their training to establish and manage their own livestock farms to maximum advantage. Ultimately, the College aims primarily at producing job makers not job seekers.
To provide knowledge and skills essential for primary processing and preparation of livestock products
To produce technicians capable of carrying out routine preventive measure, meat inspection and follow up prescribed veterinary medical treatments.

Dr Jolade A.A. Sansi is a veterinary surgeon. She graduated from the University of Ilorin with a B.Sc  (Hons) in Biology in 1982.

She graduated from University of Ibadan with a D.V.M. degree in 1988. She also has a Master’s degree in veterinary parasitology and is about to complete her Ph.D in the Veterinary Public Health and Preventive medicine at University of Ibadan.

She attended certificate course in Epidemiology and control of infectious Disease (Mathematical Modeling of Infectious Diseases) at the centre for Professional Development, imperial College London in Sept. 2006.
She has a certificate in a short course on Cellular and Molecular Basis of Immunology at the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan in 2000.

She was a Research Scholar at the College of Medicine of Georgia, Athens, U.S.A. from 2007 – 209. She received the Best Graduate Student Poster Award from the American Association of Veterinary Laboratory Diagnosticians in 2008.
She has some published journals and conference papers. She has also co-authored four books.

She is a member of the Nigerian Veterinary Medical Association and a registered Vetenarian with the Veterinary Council of Nigeria.
She is also a member of the Nigerian Organic Agriculture Network.
